Fans disappointed in the lack of insight into Mauricio Umansky and Kyle Richards‘ split on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills should consider tuning in to season 2 of Buying Beverly Hills.

The second instalment of the Netflix reality show centred around Mauricio’s brokerage, The Agency, started streaming on Friday, March 22 and kicks off with Mauricio talking to his daughters (who also work at The Agency) Farrah, Alexia and Sophia about the split.

Whoever says business isn’t personal hasn’t met Mauricio Umansky, who’s built his billion-dollar real estate empire The Agency with his daughters in tow.

But conquering the luxury housing market in 90210 and beyond doesn’t come easy — so buckle up for the new season of Buying Beverly Hills.

In the fast-paced world of the high-end property business, a healthy market is never guaranteed. This keeps Mauricio and his agents — including daughters Farrah and Alexia — on their toes.

Plus, the Umanskys bring another family member into the fold in Season 2: Recent college grad Sophia becomes The Agency’s newest intern.

With Mauricio at the helm and the support of mom and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards, the new generation of agents is practically built for handling any business and drama across their desk.

But nothing could have prepared them for the bombshells this season, as the foundation of the Umansky clan is rocked like never before, potentially changing the very fabric of the family forever.

When’s the Buying Beverly Hills Season 2 release date?

All 10 Buying Beverly Hills Season 2 episodes will launch on (Friday — March 22).

Who’s in the Buying Beverly Hills Season 2 cast?

The Agency is a family business, but with a global portfolio of luxury real estate and more developments on the horizon, the Umanskys can’t sell it all themselves.

In addition to Mauricio and daughters Farrah, Alexia, and Sophia, expect to see a few familiar agents in the new season, including Ben Belack, Joey Ben-Zvi, Melissa Platt, Brandon Graves, Santiago Arana, Sonika Vaid, and Adam Rosenfeld.

What happened between Mauricio Umansky and Rick Hilton?

Mauricio is his boss, but it hasn’t always been that way. Before creating his brokerage, Mauricio got his start in the real estate business at Hilton & Hyland, the firm co-owned by his brother-in-law and former boss, Rick Hilton.

Despite being one of the top agents at the company, Mauricio alleges that his request to be made a partner was denied, which led to his eventual exit and a rift between the two families.

The decade-old drama gets resurrected in Buying Beverly Hills Season 2 when Mauricio candidly shares his side of the story. “I was just telling the truth,” Mauricio tells Tudum about revealing what led to the creation of The Agency. “At the end of the day, it was just two businessmen making two business decisions.

I wanted to provide more for my family. I wanted to drive. I wanted to be an owner. I felt like I had a lot of things to teach and, I didn’t get that opportunity, so I went off and did it on my own.”

Is Kyle Richards in the new season of Buying Beverly Hills?

While the Bravo star only made a brief appearance in the first season of the occur-soap, Richards will be more prominently featured alongside her family in Season 2, as the series chronicles the lead-up to and the fallout after her separation with Umansky.
